I’ve been contacted by an old friend who is looking for someone to write music for her Youtube channel. Here’s what she says:
“I want an upbeat theme tune for my
new biz (I will be talking about cash!) that will last for a
few seconds at the start and end of videos and can also be
used for longer intros of Maybe up to 5 minutes depending on
cost. Do they charge by the minute or the second?
I am thinking “fast-moving and friendly”. Not only
“computer thump”; instrumentation too. I know
this is done on the computer too.”
She also says:
“I could purchase stock
royalty-free music on the web but it seems a shame to
deprive a creator of revenue” !!
